It is stone-built with local stone.
To the south of the village of Skarinou and between a field, a plain and one kilometre away, there is the chapel of Apostolos Loukas. Externally it is paved. It is stone-built with local stone. It's small and simple and its roof is tiled. The bell tower is wooden and poor. The old iconostasis was destroyed and recently a new, wooden and simple one was constructed, with few icons of the saints.
