A living sacred space
This museum space is also used as a venue for exhibitions, lectures or seminars, for cultural, artistic and religious activities, with the aim of preserving the memory of the great benefactor Kallinikos Stavrovouniotis and the Byzantine art he tirelessly served. Thus, a part of the house is formed as the hagiography workshop of Fr. Kallinikos. In the upper part, the rooms of the traditional residence were formed. Art workshops are held in the supermarket area. The traditional cheese dairy was fully restored, for the representation of the traditional way of production of Athenian halloumi and anari (curd).
