The Bridge of Routhouni is located in the area "Zimbounieris" in the village of Amargeti
The Bridge of Routhouni is located in the area "Zimbounieris" in the village of Amargeti. The bridge with the special name, was built during the Frankish period and connected the community of Amargeti with neighboring villages and specifically Eleodio. According to tradition, the bridge of Routhouni took its name thanks to two natural holes located on a rock near the bridge and whenever it rained, water flew out of it, so the old say that the "nostrils" are running, a story known by few.
