Imposing temple on a small hill
The church of Agios Theodoros tou Tyronos is located in the centre of the community on a small hill and dominates the entire community. The temple started to be built in 1956 and was completed in 1970. The new temple that was erected in the ruins of the old one, is a three-aisled basilica with a cruciform dome. It has very high, square-shaped columns, three in each row, dividing the temple into an equal number of aisles. The iconostasis is wooden and adorned with 15 large pilgrimage icons, while the church has been frescoed in recent years
